Simple Energy Techniques (SET) is a simple and user-friendly emotional healing approach, which can provide significant relief for a wide range of emotional problems, and some physical problems. This simple process of stimulating energy points on the body for emotional and physical relief is wonderful for self-help and can also be used in therapy and coaching.
Advanced Energy Methods (AEM), draws together a range of strategies for connecting with people on an energetic level and tailoring an energy psychology intervention to help them. Using these elegant tools practitioners can get deep rapport with clients, identify and access core issues very quickly, use energy interventions which “fit” and feel right for the client, and assist clients to experience rapid and enduring changes.
Provocative Energy Techniques (PET) combines the power of meridian tapping as used in EFT and SET with humorous and paradoxical communication and techniques drawn from Provocative Therapy, Ericksonian Therapy and Brief Strategic Therapy. The result is an advanced approach that addresses the multi-level nature of problems through warmth, liberating laughter, and spontaneity.
NOTE: These DVD’s are PAL format, which is the format used throughout Europe, UK, Australia, New Zealand and much of Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Back to Brussels and just as good

This is a follow-up to my earlier review as I went to Brussels vis DVD for a second time. Once again, I enjoyed the workshop very much, even though this time I fit my watching around other tasks. My biggest ‘aha’ in this 2nd ‘attendance’ was the realisation that Steve and David were using the Provocative Style in every demonstration, not only during the PET sessions. This style is intriguing and I can’t believe I missed that last time! Be sure to request the pdf hand-out for more insight. I gleaned a number of practitioner tips also and the advanced energy methods renewed my inspiration to increase skill in this area. Steve and David make their workshops so fun that laughter of the group makes the translator impossible to hear on occasion, but overall this is not an issue. I definitely recommend watching these more than once – one advantage of DVDs over attending in person!

I went to Brussels without leaving the house!

I was very fortunate to be able to watch these DVDs full-time as if I was attending the workshop, and feel like I was actually there!
The teaching is almost entirely through demonstrations, which I found very helpful. The absence of formal instruction may leave those completely new to energy healing feeling a bit ‘lost’ so for those in that category I suggest first reading information available at eftdownunder.com and/or watching some YouTube videos on SET and EFT. Some advanced energy methods (more like enhancements of SET) are covered, but PET is the permeating theme. Be aware that this is a workshop, not PET training.
I enjoyed myself as a stay-at-home attendee, wrote lots of notes, gleaned new thoughts and ideas and was inspired as Steve and David do a great job at communicating just how easy this can be. Time and money well spent!
