What's it about?
This will be a small group Intention Tapping ™ and PET immersion experience exclusively for just 8-12 people, and it will be held in Albany, a beautiful seaside town in the south-west of Western Australia. This is where my wife Louise and I travel to a couple of times every year. We love it there and now we’d like to share it with you (Louise is coming along to help out). Here are a couple of pictures of Middleton Beach which is just 200 metres or so from our accommodation. There are also some more pictures of the Albany area below on this page.

David Lake and I used to run retreats like this before the Global Financial Crisis. Some of those retreats were the most profoundly wonderful and fun and funny experiences I’ve had doing tapping and I’ve often thought about doing them again. Well now I’ve finally decided to go ahead. It’s just me of course, who’ll be tapping with you, as David has well and truly retired!
When?
We will start with a traditional Aussie BBQ welcome dinner on Tuesday 21st November 2023 and finish with a farewell lunch on Sunday 26 November 2023.
Venue:
Our venue is Dolphin Lodge, which is located approximately 200 meters from the waters of lovely Middleton Beach in Albany. Albany is one of the most scenic beautiful places on the planet and we hope to allow you to see some of the sights, some within walking distance and others a short drive from our venue.
What will happen on the retreat?
The retreat will be an intensive immersion experience with Intention Tapping and PET. You’ll be joining a small group of lovely people on a shared journey of self-development. Although the focus will be on the personal work, practitioners will also gain a lot of learning and skill development, and that may make this tax deductible for you (Check with your accountant).
Everyone will have the opportunity to do an individual tapping session with me, with borrowing benefits for everyone else. We’ll also have a group session every day to explore the issues and themes that you and the other group members bring along. Truly, anything goes in terms of topics, and adult themes and openness are encouraged.
If this is anything like those past retreats, the level of bonding, group connection, and shared human experiencing will be a huge feature. There will also be lots of laughter and a few cleansing tears.
How much?
The registration fee for the retreat itself is $1495 Aussie dollars. This includes Australian Goods and Services Tax (10%) which must be charged on events run in Australia.
What is included?
Your registration fee covers all group sessions from Wednesday through to Sunday, and also includes welcome drinks and BBQ dinner on Tuesday, light lunches every day, morning and afternoon teas, as well as the farewell lunch on Sunday.
Your travel to and from Albany, accommodation, and meals outside those mentioned above are additional.
Room Bookings:
We have negotiated a special rate at Dolphin Lodge of $195 for a standard 1-bedroom apartment for 2 people, $235 for a standard 2-bedroom apartment for 2 people, and $300 for a standard 3-bedroom apartment for 2 people (The regular rates on their website are $264, $288 or $315 per night). Apartments are fully self-contained so you can prepare your own meals outside the retreat ones if you wish. There’s also a communal laundry. To get these special rates call David or reception and advise that you are part of the Steve Wells retreat group: +61 (0)8 9841 6600
Where possible we will connect up those who wish to share an apartment to reduce costs, just let us know when you register if you would like this option.
Getting to Albany:
Albany is located 418 km southeast of Perth and you can get there by plane, bus, or car. For those driving down from Perth we’ll facilitate connections if you’d like to share a car to reduce costs.
Are you ready?
A retreat like this is a big commitment just to get there. It’s not easy if you are coming from a long way away. Then there’s the emotional commitment of doing the personal work in a group setting. But that’s also what makes the retreat experience so special. It’s not something that everyone can do or will do. Its for those who want to do something special.
